Artist Bio

Ayla Pierce is an artist who creates naturalistic art through three- and two-dimensional art. Her main media include ceramics, metalwork, and printmaking. She has studied at Colorado Mesa University, intending to earn a B.F.A. with a focus on ceramics. Ayla has spent most of her life in the small town of Montrose, CO. The national parks in the region have been a considerable inspiration to her work. Creating art from the flora and fauna she comes across, Ayla enjoys backpacking and camping in her free time. Ayla has had the opportunity to be part of a few artist exhibitions during her academic career. Ayla's work is on Grand Junction's Main Street from October 2024 to October 2025.
